J1 Program

Academic year

Why choose the J1 program?

The J1 program is subsidized by the US government and allows students from other countries to take part in cultural exchanges and continue their studies in American public schools for one year.

Being surrounded by American students and living with a host family is the best way to really learn about American culture, and is sure to be an unforgettable experience. On the weekend, you can really get to know the city (and the state) where you live. The culture, society, and country are so different that you will always remember your time there.

We understand that convalidation is important for parents as well as students. This is especially true for the J1 program. For that reason, we are always in direct contact with our host schools and representatives in the US. That way, we can be sure that you study exactly what you need in order to get your grades correctly convalidated once you’re back in Spain. We take care of it all, so you don’t have to worry.
