General English Courses
The General English course is the most popular and requested by students. It is a perfectly structured course in order to ensure the fundamental basis for the learning of the language, both written and spoken. It aims to provide all the necessary education to master the language in any context. You will study the four skills – speaking, listening, reading and writing-. Classes are held in the morning except in summer, when they can vary having afternoon classes according to level and group. You can begin classes every Monday year round. You can choose between 15-hour or 21-hour per week courses depending on the intensity you wish to subject yourself to. The levels are divided into the following: Elementary (A1), Pre-Intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1), Upper-Intermediate (B2) and Advanced (C1).
Cambridge Exams Preparation Course
Cambridge offers a wide range of tests that can help you achieve your goals and increase your work, academic and personal opportunities. The preparation courses for Cambridge exams have a duration of 15 hours per week. All parts of the exam (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, and Use of English) are worked upon, as well as examination strategies and academic style. The Cambridge Exams Preparation Course is designed to develop the necessary language skills to pass such exams. In addition to the basic material of the course, you will also be able to work with real exams from previous editions. You can also go for the 21-hour a week course, which includes 15h Cambridge Preparation + 6h of communicative use of reading, writing, speaking and listening training. You can begin classes every Monday year round. The levels offered are the following: FCE (B2) and CAE (C1). Cambridge Examination dates at school:

ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES
This accommodation is perfect for students who want to learn about local people and immerse themselves in English culture. Offering single room (double on request if you are accompanied by another person) in a host family. Families often live in residential areas of Liverpool, not in the city center, meaning students commute on public transportation (25-45 min aprox). You can choose between half board -breakfast and dinner included (Monday – Saturday, with lunch on Sundays)-, or Full Board -Breakfast, lunch and dinner (Monday – Sunday).
HALL OF RESIDENCE
It is an ideal choice for students who want to socialize and make new friends, and have their own private space. It is a modern accommodation with en-suite bathrooms, common areas and a fully equipped kitchen. The residence is located within walking distance of the school (a 15 min. walk from the school). The common areas are regularly cleaned and maintained by the accommodation maintenance teams, but the students take responsibility for cleaning their rooms and common areas after preparing and/or eating food. It is available throughout the year for students over the age of 18. The residence features: single rooms with en-suite bathroom, common kitchen and common areas, common area with TV, Wi-Fi, 24 hours reception, laundry service (with charge). Accommodation check-in on Sundays, checkout on Saturdays.
We also offer you independent studios -one or two students per studio- for those who prefer to live independently in Liverpool’s city center. The studios have their own mini-kitchen and bathroom and are within walking distance of the school (15 minutes on foot aprox.). This accommodation offers: individual and double apartments available, hotel-like access, Wi-Fi, shower, mini-fridge in all rooms, laundry service (with charge), 24 hour reception and registration service. This accommodation is available all year round, subject to availability. Only available for students over the age of 18.
FLATS/HOUSES FOR STUDENTS
It is the choice for students who want to share accommodation with other foreign students and expand your social circle. If you are independent and wish to meet people of different nationalities, this option would be perfect for you. Accommodation options range from shared houses to rooms within large apartment buildings. All accommodation options are located in popular areas for students with easy access to shops, pubs, cafés, etc., and good public transport connections. These accommodations are situated in different neighborhoods of the city and require public transportation to get to school (25-45 min.). The school is right next to the fabulous Liverpool One shopping area, from there you can take a bus and meet 2 of the greatest football teams of the Premier League, Liverpool and Everton FC. The school is also very close to the famous ‘Cavern Club’, which was the home to the Beatles, and still offering incredible live music every day.
The school has 18 classrooms, interactive whiteboards, Wi-Fi throughout the center, social activities and excursions programme, a TV room, drinks and snacks vending machines, library and study room.
The Leisure Time team organizes activities every week so that you have the opportunity to discover the city and socialise with the rest of students from different nationalities, who are attending the school. Some of these activities are free and others are carried out at a special price for our students. You can sign up for trips to other cities in England, guided tours of the cities and their most emblematic sites, events and parties, etc…
How to get to Liverpool
To get to the center of Liverpool, you can take a bus, taxi or train. There are two bus companies that take you to the center of Liverpool in 30-50 min. for a very affordable price (Arriva and National Express). The shuttle service from/to the airports of Liverpool or Manchester can be booked for a supplemental charge. Liverpool Airport is small, but as it is a quite touristic city there are quite a few airlines reaching it. The flight to Liverpool can get quite cheap, more specifically, those companies arriving at Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport, which are: EasyJet, Ryanair, Vueling, FlyBe, Czech Airlines, Blue Air, Wizz Air, Aer Lingus, Thomson.
