A city capable of surprising both those who visit it for the first time, as well as those who fell in love with it and cannot help visiting it regularly. In London you will be able to feel small next to the impressive Big Ben, contemplate the world at your feet from the London Eye or witness the changing of the guard in front of Buckingham Palace.

History and Modernity


General English (15 lessons/week)

Learn to use your English effectively in everyday situations. It will help you to improve your skills in speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary and grammar. At the beginning of the course you will take a level test to place you in a class at the appropriate level to ensure the greatest progress for all students.

  • Students’ required level: All levels except absolute beginners (see dates)
  • Available times: 09:00-12:00; 12:30-15:30; 15:30-18:30
  • Duration of each lesson: 55 minutes

 IELTS Preparation (15 lessons/week)

The majority of English universities accept an adequate IELTS score as proof of you holding proper English language skills to follow the course. The IELTS course will prepare you and ensure that you are ready to achieve best score at your reach in the examination. If you have a particular score for a college course as a personal goal, the teachers will advise and guide you to get the score you need.

  • Students’ required level: B2-C2
  • Available times: 09:00-12:00; 12:30-15:30; 15:30-18:30
  • Duration of each lesson: 55 minutes

Cambridge Exams Preparation (15 lessons/week)

If you already have a good knowledge of English language and want to obtain a certificate that proves so, the Cambridge exam preparation course is right option for you. The school offers 3 preparation courses for these examinations: FCE (B2), CAE (C1) and CPE (C2). These exams are internationally recognized and are among the best in the world. They are used by businesses and universities from all over the world as reliable indicators of proficiency in the English language.

  • Students’ required level: B2-C2
  • Available Times: 09:00-12:00; 12:30-15:30
  • Duration of each lesson: 55 minutes

Intensive English (30 lessons/week)

This course will help you to move faster towards your goals, and to reach them more quickly. Students can study  Intensive General English (30 lessons/week) or combine General English (15 lessons/week) with a Specialization Course (15 lessons/week) to choose from; Conversation and Pronunciation, Cambridge Exams Preparation (FCE, CAE or CPE); IELTS Preparation; or Business English.

  • Students’ required level: B2-C2 (Intensive General English: all levels except absolute beginner, check dates).
  • Available Times: 09:00-15:30; 12:30-18:30
  • Duration of each lesson: 55 minutes

*In all courses, when you arrive at the school you will have to pay for the book used in classes (30 pounds aprox.).

Conversation and Pronunciation (15 lessons/week)

This course focuses on developing oral language skills, improving your pronunciation and conversation skills and communication strategies. This will help you to express yourself confidently and effectively in any spoken interaction, both socially and in more formal surroundings and global situations.

  • Available Times: 12:30-15:30
  • Duration of each lesson: 55 minutes

Business English (15 lessons/week)

With this course you will learn essential skills in Business English in areas such as: meetings and presentations, negotiating, expressing agreement and disagreement, developing confidence in seminars, conferences and events, in addition to communication in English at work or socially.

  • Available Times: 12:30-15:30
  • Duration of each lesson: 55 minutes



Make the most of your stay in London lodging with a carefully selected family. You will be able to practise your English in a friendly atmosphere. You will have your own room, and you can choose between 3 meal options: self-service (you can cook for yourself what you buy), half board (breakfast and dinner) or breakfast only. Shared rooms are available only if you come with another person. The families live in different neighborhoods between Zone 2 and Zone 5. The school is in Zone 1. Commuting by public transport: Families in Area 2 (30 – 45 minutes), Families in Area 3 (45 – 60 minutes), Families in Areas 4 & 5 (60 – 90 minutes).

 “James Lighthill” Hall of Residence (July and August)

It is located very close to King’s Cross and St. Pancras International, James Lighthill offers affordable accommodation during the summer in single rooms with en-suite bathroom. The residence is situated 25 minutes away from the school by Underground or 35 minutes on foot. It offers accommodation-only, no breakfast, and each student has access to a separate shared kitchen. Each kitchen is equipped with the basic utensils needed. Near the Residence there are also several pubs, cafés and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. There are also nearby supermarkets if clients wish to prepare their own meals – a Tesco supermarket is just a few-minute walk away. In each room there is a broadband Internet connection via Ethernet cable (at a weekly charge). There is no Wi-Fi access. The school also has coin-operated laundry.

“Bowden Court” – Notting Hill Gate- Hall of Residence (all year round)

Bowden Court is well situated in a quiet residential street (1-10 minutes from the school by underground on Central Line), but close to the hustle and bustle of Notting Hill Gate with its famous street market on Portobello Road and at a short walk from Kensington Gardens, Bayswater and Holland Park. Notting Hill Gate underground station is nearby. The residence offers accommodation for 272 residents in a combination of single and double rooms (if you come accompanied). Bathrooms are shared. The residence includes half board (breakfast and dinner). There is a large dining room located on the ground floor and facilities include a TV room, fitness room, living room, study room, Internet access, laundry service and vending machines. There is a garden area for the exclusive use of its residents.

“Friendship House” Hall of Residence (All year round)

Friendship House is a hall of residence located in historic Southwark and it is near several underground stations, including Southwark, Elephant and Castle, Borough and Waterloo, with easy access both to the city and West End. The Tate Modern Gallery, the Globe Theater and Southwark Cathedral are within walking distance. It is located 10 minutes away -by underground- from the school (Northern or Bakerloo lines). The residence offers accommodation for 179 people in rooms en-suite bathroom, mostly individual, along with some double bedrooms as well as nine rooms designed for people with physical disabilities. The residence is designed in an attractive way with two lounges, a TV room, a conference room, a garden and a quiet room. Kitchens and kitchen utensils are provided for groups of 10 people who cook their own food. There are two lifts, a laundry and vending machines. The Residence has wired Internet access in each room.

“Ramsay Hall” Hall of Residence (July and August)

Located on Maple Street (W1T 5HB), just round the corner from the BT Tower, Ramsay Hall can hold 508 guests. The school is located at 15-minute walking distance from the school. It is a great hall of residence composed of four buildings around a central courtyard. Ramsay Hall offers optional meal-service. There is also a shared kitchen to cook food students have bought. You can book the accommodation without meals or with breakfast or half board (breakfast and dinner). Oxford Street and the West End are a 15-minute walk away. There are numerous nearby restaurants for all tastes and budgets.

The School

The school is located in the center of London just a few metres from Oxford Street, in the proximity to department stores, shops, restaurants, cafés and theaters, making it the ideal base camp to explore this amazing city after class. The school has excellent facilities to help you make the most of your English classes. Facilities:

  • Great library with reference material and study area.
  • Rooftop café overlooking the historic Soho in London, offering a wide range of cold and hot drinks, as well as freshly made sandwiches and snacks.
  • Computer room for students to use. Free Wi-Fi.
  • Areas for self-study.
  • Department devoted to students’ welfare providing support and advice to open bank accounts, obtain medical help, etc…

Leisure Time

The Leisure Time team organizes activities every week so that you have the opportunity to discover the city and socialise with the rest of students from different nationalities, who are attending the school. Some of these activities are free and others are carried out at a special price for our students. You can sign up for trips to other cities in England, guided tours of the cities and their most emblematic sites, events and parties, etc…

Cómo llegar a Londres

Gracias a su importancia como destino turístico de primer nivel, Londres es una ciudad perfectamente comunicada con España y con el resto del mundo. Londres cuenta con 4 aeropuertos: Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton y Stansted. Desde cualquiera de estos aeropuertos existe la posibilidad de llegar al centro de Londres con tren o autobús.

La gran cantidad de visitantes que atrae Londres hace que muchas compañías de bajo coste vuelan a la capital a precios realmente sorprendente, algunas de ellas son: Ryanair, Vueling o Easyjet.
